Papers, 1873-1940.

Papers of Howard Murray Jones, a minister who was registrar of the Madison Association of Congregational Churches, consisting mainly of personal letters to his sister, Ada Alice Jones. A few early papers concern his teaching at Berea College, Kentucky, and his pastorates at Kalamazoo, Michigan and Minneapolis, Minnesota, though after 1911 they pertain to his farm experiences at Auburndale and his ministerial services in Madison, Wisconsin.

Although the sources of photographs are not always indicated, the bulk was apparently generated in the Berea College Publicity Department and the College News Bureau. In addition, portions of the photographs were donated by individuals, most of whom have some connection with the College. Chief among these is Roy N.
